American Heritage Girls
American Heritage Girls is a Christ-centered character and leadership development program for girls 5 to 18 years of age. AHG is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country.
American Heritage Girls (AHG) was founded by a group of parents wanting a faith-based, scout-type character development program for their daughters in 1995. AHG girls across the nation and the globe participate in badge programs, service projects, leadership opportunities, and outdoor experiences, all with an emphasis on Christian values and family involvement.

Connect with other girls in your troop.
Find community and a place to belong, forming lasting relationships with other girls with the same goal.
Grow into a woman of God.
AHG’s faith-based program emphasizes not only adventure and practical skills, but is rooted in Biblical character and the Christian faith.
Serve your community and country.
AHG fosters an environment of service and patriotism, actively engaging with the community and with patriotic events. Serving others and being active citizens with their Troop fosters a lifelong love for their country.
Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
Ephesians 4:15-16 (ESV)
