Why We Partner

We believe that every human being has a right to hear and respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Because of this, we partner with ministries that reach people with no access to the Gospel, often in difficult circumstances. We support global partners in fields across the world.

Vision: The Hub pages serve as a way to consolidate information and allow people to see into the heartbeat of the ministry.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19 (NIV)

Fono and Sose Fepuleai

are base leaders at YWAM Samoa. Their lives are dedicated to training Samoans to take the gospel to the unreached.

Usufono (Fono) & Sose Fepulea’i did ministry, along with their four children; Tiffany, Peta, Chuan, & Juyn in Taiwan for more than 25 years.

In 2007, Fono had a vision of a new wave of missionaries being released from the Pacific Islands into nations where the Gospel has not yet been heard. He and a group of other Samoan YWAM Missionaries from the globe came together to launch “Samoa for Missions” Conference, where they sought to remind Samoans of their heritage in bringing the Gospel to the unreached and challenged them to respond to the call of God on their lives.

Fono took on the role of base leader at YWAM Samoa in 2008 with a desire to see Samoans follow in the footsteps of their forefathers in laying down their lives for the gospel.

Faith and Roger Shaw

Faith & Roger Shaw met in the UK in 1983 at college. They lived in San Jose, California for twelve years where they attended the Home Church. Lifelong friends from this church community have encouraged and supported the couple through thick and thin.

Faith grew up as a refugee in a family of limited means, yet she was fortunate to be admitted to a very good high school in Uganda. That lucky break gave her the boost that made her the women she is today. Ever since Faith’s high school days, she has wanted to create a world-class school in a disadvantaged neighborhood. Faith is still friends with many of her old schoolmates. Her dream is that many decades from now, former students will be connecting with each other from wherever they ended up around the world to reminisce about the good old days at Pioneer.
